Association Inc.

The      2nd/14th      Light      Horse      Regiment      (Queensland Mounted   Infantry)   Association   Inc.   was   established   by   a small    group    of    interested    people    in    Brisbane    on    26th April    2013    and    was    formally    incorporated    on    6th    May 2013. The objects of the Association are to: • foster   and   perpetuate   ties   of   comradeship   amongst members; • promote the Regiment and its history; • support   the   Regiment   by   pursuing   matters   referred to it by the Commanding Officer of the Regiment; • be   a   Member   Association   of   the   RAAC   Corporation Ltd; • conduct   social   activities   and   events   of   interest   to members; • in   conjunction   with   other   ex-Service   organisations, to   promote   and   assist   with   the   welfare   and   well- being of members and their dependents. The   Association   is   a   member   of   the   RAAC   Corporation   Ltd   which      in      turn      represents      our      interests      through membership      of      the      Alliance      of      Defence      Service Organisations  (ADSO). Members,   former   members,   partners   and   friends   of   the Regiment   are   invited   to   join   the   Association   for   a   nominal fee.

Steve   Salmon,   COL   (Ret.)   has   been appointed    Honorary    Colonel    of the Regiment.
